If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain,

If you cut me with a knife ,its all the same,

And I know her heart is beating,

But I know that I am dead,

Yet the pain that I feel, try and tell me its not real,

And it seems that I still have a tear to shed.

If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain,

In the ice or in the sun its all the same,

Yet I feel my heart is aching,

Though it doesn’t beat its breaking,

And the pain here that I feel, try and tell me its not real,

I know that I am dead,

Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed

Having resurrected an animation from my youth, I think the best Tim Burton animation yet. I loved the mourn of the corpse bride, such a beautiful and true account of love, loss and a loved lost.

Though a bit elementary I hope you enjoyed the simply beautiful poetry in this verse ,I sure did.
